Slootermeerschool Amsterdam
grade 5
The
Slootermeerschool is a non-denominational primary school. This means that all
children, no matter their religious or philosophical background, are welcome
at our school. The main function of non-denominational schools is to guarantee
and provide education for all children that are liable to compulsary education.
Starting point of our education is the equality of all people. Among other
things, this finds expression in intercultural activities. Conversation groups,
where children can bring in their own experiences and interests, are a regular
part of the program in each group. Through artistic education, children can
learn to recognize and express their experiences. In addition to language
teaching and doing sums, we find this very important.
The
address of the school is: Burgemeester Fockstraat 85, 1063 CW Amsterdam, The
Netherlands
